“CAPRICCIO” music played in a playful, unique, and virtuoso style
COMPOSITION
Beth’s special love of traditional Western music theory and form, has her writing music experimenting with all styles from modal Renaissance to Baroque fugues to 21st Century “program” music capturing moods and feels of nature, history and motion. . She is poly-stylistic from consonant and tonal (sweet and melodic) to avant-garde styled New Music techniques (dramatic, atonal and dissonant), sometimes experimenting with new sounds for New Music techniques, and writing for various groups of instrumental ensembles. Aside from studying music composition in college, she apprenticed with known arrangers in the recording industry and has an avenue of expression through her composing and arranging of music. She’s written and published many scores.
